Mommy What Do Carrots Do?: A Children's Book on Food

This colorful, child friendly little book helps children become aware of how different foods effect their body. Even without the ability to read, this book shows bright, happy food characters and children- doing puzzles, jumping and running that any child would easily understand. A real help for parents and grandparents convincing the little ones to eat healthy food. An easily understood, child-friendly Food Pyramid is in the back of the book for quick reference. This book is a "must have" for anyone caring for children and providing healthy snacks and meals.

5GREAT CHILDREN'S FOOD BOOK  Oct 03, 2009
By Grandpa Phil "Phil"
I bought this book for my grandchildren who are always asking me WHY they should eat a certain food and what does it do for them. Sure got my grandson to eat his spinach! The book I noticed was written by Judy Tenzyk who was involved in a children's charity known as the 4-C's. Really a delightful book and the illustrations by Tyler Hollis are bright and colorful

5Great Book  Oct 05, 2010
By Brian Quatrale
This book instantly connected with our 6 year old daughter. Simple but important message for children(and adults)and its nice
our kids get to hear the message from someone other than Mom and Dad.(sometimes they listen better to other people)I can tell the author has a way with children!!
