1The Nerve to charge $10 for a silly pamphlet  Apr 19, 2010
By C. Kownatzki
I was excited when I heard the title of this book. Money 101 would encompass all the basics one needs to know about money. So I thought. I feel embarrassed for the author. This is one of the most superficial books I've had in my hands. The nerve to charge $10 for what is nothing more than a pamphlet and a marketing platform for the author. At the very least, I would have hoped that the list of website links at the end of the booklet gives some useful information. Sadly, I was disappointed there too. About half of the links listed are no longer working.

In my opinion, this pamphlet represents the poor state of financial literacy not just among our youth but also among the majority of the adult generation. It's nothing but a bunch of superficial slogans with no substance. Too bad, the title would have been a great one to really delve into the subject matter. With utter disappointment, I had to return this one to Amazon (a first for me).
