Eloquent and Inspiring! Apr 02, 2008
By Marlene Bremner

In "Mountain's Stillness, River's Wisdom," Philip Berk transmits fundamental spiritual truths through the calm, reflective words of a true poet. Every passage is simple and direct, yet full of depth. I especially liked the chapter On Becoming because it is so empowering in its message of manifesting your dreams in reality and living up to your full potential in this life. Berk's writing is eloquent and his message is clear and brilliant. This book is perfect for a daily dose of contemplation and inspiration.

Every day relief for every day struggles. Great Book! Nov 14, 2006
By Dennis B. Thompson Jr. Mountain's Stillness River's Wisdom brings me out of the noise of my daily struggle with life and back to my true being. Every passage in this book has a message for me. There is truely more peace in my life after reading just one page; it is my little salvation before and after each day. Thanks Philip M. Berk!

This Book Is a Major Treasure!!! Oct 05, 2006
By Frankie Mazza "Mountain's Stillness, River's Wisdom" is a rare gem. The author's uncanny gift is his ability to express and convey spiritual wisdom directly, joyfully, and with the generosity of his own heart. Philip M. Berk has somehow magically penetrated the wisdom of the ages, distilled it, and then graced us with it. This little book is profound, beautiful, and will connect the reader to the ineffable. It amazingly does what it says it does: it is "a compassionate guide to the art of being." Given the times we're living in, it should be read daily not only for inspiration but because, simply put, it will make you feel better!!

Brilliant! It's a classic! Sep 01, 2006
By A. Kolostyak I have never witnessed such a beautiful, inspirational, and spiritually wise book since Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet" and Lao Tzu's "Tao Te Ching." Each entry brings you closer to your true self. It's a must read for everyone! I highly recommend it.
