Mr. Hunter and The Templars

Mr. Hunter and The Templars is a murder mystery set in Victorian-era Edinburgh with threads reaching back to the times of Robert the Bruce and the Knights Templar. The main character, James Christie Hunter, is an irascible schoolmaster by profession, but his love for history, his keen eye for detail and his sharp mind also make him a successful amateur detective. In this novel, he helps his police inspector friend, Owen Rattray, solve a series of murders which appear to have links to a secret society basing themselves on the Knights Templar of old. However, there is more to these killings than meets the eye.
