2My 3rd Book for Year One, but my Least Favorite  Aug 11, 2010
By Jarucia Jaycox Nirula "~A Pink American"
I'm a regular baby journaler. I'm trying to keep a log for my little one's entire first year so I can tell when exactly when he started this or that or whatever.

My first book was Baby Tracker Childcare Journal - Time Dots. I LOVED it for those early months of constant monitoring. Excellent design for round the clock notes. By month 3 I was ready for something a little less intense.

My second book was Baby's Eat, Sleep & Poop Journal, Log Book (Aqua). I liked how compact it was, but I was a little less thrilled with the layout than my first book. Still, it was nice having a blank note page opposite the tracking page in order to jot down 'firsts'.

This newest book doesn't really measure up to the other two for organizing baby's activities.

Cons:

~Smeared ink from printing process
~Too big to be handy.
~Non-spiral bound keeps tracking the current page a pain..why aren't there tabs??
~Splitting out the 'sleep' section makes NO SENSE

Pros:
~Because my baby is past 6mos, I'm not constrained by constant jotting. I generally just write whatever I want where I want. In this case, I could have bought a blank notebook, really.

I'm sure this book works for some people, but really, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without some significant modifications.

5AWESOME!  Mar 03, 2006
By MSG
After searching high and low for a well-laid out baby log book that would last me for awhile, I had all but given up hope until I finally decided to try this one out and... I was pleasantly surprised! It is super easy to use, covers just about anything you need to keep track of for your baby and best of all it lasted a looooong time (6 months worth!). Also it's extremely well-priced (I have seen far-less-superior ones selling for $16 or more!!!). A must-have item for any new mom or ideal shower gift for the organised mom-to-be.

5BRILLIANT!!!  Mar 03, 2006
By ALF
I purchased this book for a friend who just had her first baby and she LOVES it!!! This neat book holds all those "baby" notes I was feverishly scribbling on random pieces of paper at all hours of the night after I had used up all the pre-printed papers given to me by the nurses in the maternity ward for tracking baby's eating/sleeping/pooping. I WISH I had had this book when my baby was born!!!

5A helpful tool to keep track of your baby's bodily functions in the early months  Jul 15, 2007
By Dr. Jenn Berman "Therapist, author, radio host, psychological expert & parent of twins"
This book should be given to every parent before leaving the hospital with their new baby! It makes keeping track of baby's feeding and bodily functions a breeze, no matter how sleep-deprived you may be. I used this with my twins and found it to be an invaluable resource.

5A Must Have, Especially if you have twins!  Apr 03, 2007
By Elizabeth H. Peterson
I was so grateful for this book. I received it as a gift and used it until my twin daughters were six months old. It's very comprehensive and great to take to doctor visits when you're sleep deprived. It was also a great tool when we taught our girls how to fall asleep on their own and then sleep through the night because we could track and review our progress. For multiple moms, this book is a lifesaver. In fact, I just purchased it as gift for another twin mom - I know she'll need it!
