My Private Calls

Renowned, former, erotic film and stage actress, and men's magazine columnist and writer, Jody Maxwell, bares all the explicit and uncensored facts of some of the actual fantasy phone sex calls she had over a twelve-year period, in My Private Calls. The calls' details come from 60 complete journals, which contain every single call of the thousands she received while she was with the Rolls Royce of fantasy phone sex clubs. Jody shares each entire call with the reader from the moment the phone is answered until the caller hangs up. Intertwined among the calls are spicy tidbits of Jody's own amazing life, both in and out of the erotic industry. My Private Calls is entertaining, informative, humorous, sexy, and definitely provocative nonfiction!

2if you can slog through the BAD editing ....  Aug 15, 2007
By WiseWomanSpirit
If you can slog through the really BAD editing and layout of this book it's maybe worth the read (ie, pages left uncompleted, spelling errors, etc). The stories are funny if dated (people don't use keys at swing parties any more and haven't in 30 year). The layout of the book is rather disconcerting (she interrupts "real life" stories to insert a phone call vignette). Really this book could use a revamp with a better publisher and a substantially better editor. If you're looking for a wonderful book about the phone sex industry and how it works, try Phone Sex: Aural Thrills and Oral Skills by Miranda Austin. It's a much better and more realistic read.
