This is the best book I have ever read on this subject. It helps allay peoples fears of the dead by explaining all of the different types of hauntings. What not to do. Most importantly, how to develop an amicable relationship with the dead but not quite departed to benefit everyone.

I pretty much just stumbled onto the PPP Paranormal web-site and found it to be a bit of a different twist on what has quickly become the ONLY truth available now days. Laurie has been doing this much longer than just about ALL of the so-called "Experts" and has gained much insight into the "why's and what for's"She does a really good job of explaining why she believes what she believes and basically clears up many misconceptions. She also answers some questions that I personally had as to why these entities act the way they do and she is concerned with actually helping to correct and End the problem instead of just providing entertainment for the "team". I highly recommend this book to all those that have a paranormal group or just wish to continue to learn all they can about this elusive subject. At this point we ALL need a break from "Ghost Hunters" and their brand of pre-packaged, safe, very, very mundane "we know everything and anything else is garbage"mentality. Can ANYONE actually watch Ghost Hunters Academy?? Ugghhhh!!

this book i would definetly recommend to anyone who wants to understand more about the paranormal. laurie champion explains the paranormal through what she has collected and experienced throughout her entire life. a must buy book.

Told in a down to earth style, from a 25 year veteran of the paranormal investigative field, I couldn't put it down. Compelling stories and penetrating questions drove the book. Highly recommended.
