Simple Bedtime Story Mar 18, 2008

'Nightie Night, Lucy' is a gentle, nice bedtime story for all young ones. Incredibly simple story with bright pictures that are sure to open any tiny child's eyes, this book is perfect for a quick read when you don't have a lot of time but still want to get a story in. Reading is so important for children and this is a welcome addition to your library.

By Midwest Book Review Nightie Night, Lucy is a softcover children's picturebook about a bunny rabbit girl Lucy and her pet cat Seymour who aren't quite ready to go to bed yet. Instead, the two of the imagine all sorts of wonderful adventures together. "First they decided to fly through space. / Then, Lucy became a ballerina on a big stage with bright lights. / Seymour rode his motorcycle through the rolling green mountains." A two-page picture spread in the author's iconic, lovable art style follows each setting, in this wonderful picturebook ideal for reading aloud right before bedtime.
