When an individual feels non-existent,helpless,confused,anxious,and totally hopeless, something is definitely wrong.In many cases, these were the kinds of feelings that subsequently caused offenders to commit their initial crime. Although that may not always be the case. In prisons today,the tax dollars are being used to keep prisoners in 8' x 10' cells or in Solitary Confinement for the remainder of their time or life.This treatment is not only inhumane but it serves no purpose, other than to cause more emotional damage to individuals who could otherwise be reformed.
