5Inspirational  Mar 15, 2010
By Mary Ann S. Glueckert
This is a book for all women and girls! Moms get it for your daughters, neices, neighbors and their schools. We are losing the edge for the next generation in America. This book will inspire you to step it up and reach out for the top. Forty-eight WIT Leadership winners share their stories and their secrets. Read it but be sure to share it.

5We don't have to stop being women to succeed  Jan 07, 2010
By Robin M. Bectel
What really strikes me about the women profiled is that they while they identify the typical qualities we might associate with leaders (strength, decisiveness, quick judgment, etc.) they also point to the softer, more feminine qualities as keys to their success (listening, compassion, admitting weaknesses, etc.). I find that interesting because we were always told to downplay those qualities in order to make it, but these women have embraced them. Full disclosure, I'm a WIT member and helped promote this book because I was really inspired by the stories. If you are looking for some inspiration in your career or just want to know that you can take a wide variety of paths to reach your goal, this is a good read.

5Inspiring Read  Dec 17, 2009
By PKC
After reading even just a few of the stories of women in this book I was inspired and challenged to take a look at my own career (and life) goals and how I am setting out to achieve them. This book serves as a great kick start for anyone looking for motivation to really go after their goals.
