A resource I've used many times for sharing nonviolent communication Dec 09, 2009
By Bonnie Clyde I'm so grateful that Lucy, Raj and Judi put this toolkit together. I've been waiting for something to come out that puts everything together in one resource. Not only are there clear exercises with instructions and handouts, there are also video clips that show the training in action and handouts you can download. As a somewhat new facilitator of NVC, this has been a great support in giving me proven exercises and resources to use in workshops. It also includes templates with needs, feelings, signs that are useful for posting, guided meditations, etc. This helps your workshop reach people who learn in different ways more easily.
It's definitely worth the $58 - they have over 500 pages, lots of video clips and have been very responsive to me about questions I've had! Make the investment. I got it the day it came out because I was so eager to have the tools to help me share NVC with more confidence. I am very pleased! -Bonnie, speakingoflistening.com
Disappointed Dec 28, 2011
By Melani I am disappointed with the toolkit book. I own several other NVC books and have attended many workshops and so was looking for an in depth guide to help me teach others about NVC. What I found was giant print, repetitive format and the same information and activities as in all of the other books I own. For $75 I am disappointed, I wanted more detail and different learning tools. bummer ;(
