EXCELLENT CATALOG Jul 13, 2009
By Sharon This is an excellent catalog, accurate and complete. Mr. Krohn has done an outstanding job - HIGHLY recommended.

WAIT FOR THE NEXT EDITION OF THE OBAMA PHILATELIC CATALOG Aug 03, 2009
By Randall Sherman I ordered the catalog even though I realized that it would be far from complete, since the editor, Edward Krohn, would be as stymied as everyone else by the ridiculous delays of cachetmakers in getting their Washington, DC Inaugural Covers back. (Many are still waiting for their Inaugural Covers that were sent to Washington.)
While I was willing to accept an incomplete listing of Inaugural Cachets, I was shocked to open the catalog upon receiving it and finding that the editor had misspelled the President's first name several times, including the Table of Contents and the Preface!
As for the body of the catalog, there wasn't a lot of information listed to go along with the covers and the foreign stamps. Quite frankly, Krohn could have had more details in his catalog if he had come to the COMPEX 2009 Stamp Show (held just outside of Chicago over the Memorial Day weekend) and had copied down every word of text that I used in my 32-page exhibit of Obama Election and Inaugural covers.
This is clearly an example of a book rushed to publication to try to take advantage of the wave of Obamamania. Unfortunately, the startling flaws in this initial edition of this catalog would make it difficult for it to be sold at half price at the Walgreen's in Hyde Park, near Obama's Chicago home (a store that has picked up the sales motto, "All things Obama").
