Omega Now: A Most Startling Heresy

An apostasy has been prophesied for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. “Be not deceived; many will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. We have now before us the alpha of this danger. The omega will be of a most startling nature.” Selected Messages Book 1, 197. When will the omega come? Is the omega now? This author beleives it is very much with us today, widespread and thriving. Omega is now.

5The Omega Heresy  Feb 26, 2011
By Tim Hayden
There have been many books written through the years on the last heresy that would enter the Sevent-day Adventist Church, and which Ellen White called the Omega. This book takes a new position that I have not heard before. While most speculate about some new, future teaching, or New Age doctrine that will infiltrate the Church at the end, this book takes the position that the Omega is among us Now, and will result in a shaking of the Church at some future point in time. By rejecting or ignoring the judgment message that God has already sent to us, we are being set up for the shaking. Even though he has taken on a difficult subject, his arguments are clear and interesting, and this book is very thought provoking. Whether David is right or not will soon be proved. "Omega Now" is worth reading.
