One And One Make Three

Stevie is a transgendered and bisexual social worker supervising a caseload of wacky, colorful adults in the beach areas of Orange County. Her professional and personal life is never uneventful but nothing prepares her for what happens when her mentor, a charismatic psychologist, returns from a vacation in Mexico, changed involuntarily into a woman. This topsy-turvy beginning becomes deadly as thugs from the criminal underworld clash with Federal agents in an effort to obtain the invaluable gender serum stolen from a top secret government lab in Mexico by a master thief the Feds call Moriarty. Stevie's friend is murdered. She and her family are in danger from the rival groups competing to find this world altering grail. Their only hope is a mystical and magical Englishman who some suspect is actually Moriarty. The solution to the mystery lurks in the reasons Moriarty chose to involve Stevie and her boss in his intricate and deadly scheme to become a billionaire.

3Never quite makes it!  Sep 08, 2010
By Samuel Rafael
After a slow start, a myriad of characters and too much wordiness, this novel eventually gains momentum, but never quite makes it. However, because Rowie is obviously a therapist and an expert on gender dysphoria, the method the author describes by which one can reconcile their own GID and find internal peace, makes it a worthwhile read, particularly if you have an interest in these two subjects.
