Mari Hanson has done it again! One Baby Elephant is not your ordinary counting book. The charming verse and stunning illustrations make this book a classic that will be read aloud nightly (and daily!) to your little ones. The African animals are illustrated in a warm and friendly style and the rollicking verse begs to be read aloud. This book would make a charming gift for any child in your life.

My children absolutely LOVE this book!! I am a homeschool mom and this is the perfect book for bedtime stories AND for learning!! My kids can't get enough of it. They make me read it to them over and over again, then they spend time on their own looking at the wonderful illustrations. I HIGHLY recommend this book! We put it right up there with Goodnight Moon!

My niece Ella loves this book and I have given it as a gift to a number of my friends and family, all love it as well. I say get both of Mari's books (Sleepy Sun is the other) so your children, your friends children and any children you know can enjoy the well written, fun and colorful book. Everyone will have a joy reading this, a real keeper!
