The inclusion of Thin Lizzy in this alone makes it worthy of one star. They had a number of hits, the first being Whiskey In The Jar. The Boys Are Back In Town, Jailbreak, Killer On The Loose, Chinatown, Sarah, Do Anything You Want To, I could list more if you want?

3Fun recalling to be had, though some erroneous information  Apr 08, 2011

Wayne Jancik seems to show his passion for the music which he writes of, and he helps bring historic life to recordings doomed to be otherwise forgotten. For all the book sheds light on songs that did change the course of music even if the people who recorded them might not have been legendary, it's often priceless. The fascination of people living everyday normal lives before and after a brief moment in the spotlight enshrines them in history makes it worth reading. However, a some entries are rather empty, stating nothing more than the songs existance. A couple show poor research, like when he writes of Gale Garnett having faded from sight when in fact she had appeared in movies with Genevieve Bujold and Jack Lemmon prior to the books 1990 publishing date, and when he writes with fascination about how Bobby Caldwell had a wildly diverse career when in fact, it was two different Bobby Caldwells he writes of. The Joel Whitburn books make the same error about Bobby Caldwell, and while both Bobby Caldwells are about the same age and got started in the music business around the same time, it still could have been better researched. Enough frivolous rock and roll trivia makes it still worth reading.
