Not bad! Sep 28, 2007
By Tattooed BabyGirl I have found eric alayon's tattoo books very useful as an apprentice tattooer. I purchased this book for the flash sketches but became captivated by the stories. I found them very intreaging and they are very good for a novice, creative writer! His imagination and creativity really shows thru in these stories. (thats why the 5 stars) I enjoyed Igor and The Sherriff Story the most, and his Death poem was very... interesting. Looking at the art in this book was like peeking thru his personal sketch book, I found many tattoos I can use as is, and some have inspired me with ideas for my own.

WOW!!! Jun 30, 2009
By a tattooer I was a little skeptical abour ordering this book, I read alot of sci-fi and usually expect very little from a novice writer. But this book is excellent! Like the other reviewer said, the authors imagination and creativity really show through. I think the story "Igor" should be made into a movie! I must have read it a hundred times, it really made me think about things...
The pictures look like they were just copied out of his sketch book, which is not a bad thing. Too many artists like to show off finished art, but here you see the rough sketch. even the finished drawings are left "unpolished", but that helps reatain the heart of the drawing. It's like the artist is not afraid of what people might say.
