I am so very proud of Daniel, Ruth and Matthew. Their story is one of inspiration and love. This is a loving family and I am so glad to have the chance to call them friends.

This is the wonderful and captivating story of the remarkable Faiella family. It grabbed me instantly and I read it in less than three days--it's a well-written, enthralling page-turner! Daniel and Ruth do more for their autistic son than just about any other family I have ever heard of and it pays off in the best way possible: they have their son back from the grips of autism. These parents prove that the biomedical aspect of treating autism WORKS--there is nothing 'psuedo-sciencey' about it. Autism is NOT a dead-end diagnosis. Stem cell therapy is, in my opinion, the treatment that is going to bring so many people, both children and adults, back from the brink of conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, MS, cancer, etc., etc.--the list goes on. This book details exactly how, why, when, where and what they did for their son and is an excellent guide for any parent with a newly diagnosed child--there is HOPE and and there are treatments that will get your child back. It's never too late to start the journey. I highly recommend this book.

This is the best book I've read yet on recovery from autism. The Faiella's are true warrior parents who have inspired me to keep fighting for my son's recovery. Their story is so familiar. I've seen it myself in my own son, and have heard it from hundreds of parents. Mainstream medicine offers absolutely nothing for our children, but there are wonderful people and therapies out there that can help.
I am a parent who has been using biomedical treatment for my son for a couple years now, and I am ready to take it to the next level. Anyone who wants to learn about the latest in biomedical treatment for autism and other neurological disorders needs to read this book. I could not recommend a better book!

I could not put this book down until I finished it as it was so interesting and inspirational. Daniel and Ruth Faiella bravely and candidly share their struggles during their journey in recovering their son, Matthew from autism. From the diagnosis to the traditional and unconventional biomedical treatments they try, you will truly appreciate the dedication they have in helping their son. I have taken so much from this book and will be researching some of the treatments for my own son. Anyone who has a child or loved with autism should read this book. You will undeniably feel a connection to their story and be motivated to keep searching for answers and fighting for your child.
True Parent Warriors Prevail Against Traditional Mainstream Negativity Nov 17, 2009
The Faiella's journey to recover their son against mainstream uproar is nothing short of remarkable. It takes a special family and the Faiella's are definitely that. Their story is so inspirational and something all of us parents of children who think "outside the box" can relate to. A MUST READ to let us know we are not alone in this mainstream society that wants to push "traditional" therapy of treating the symptoms and one that always avoids the question of cause. I truly admire Daniel and Ruth's determination and perseverance to the RECOVERY of their son from severe autism. NEVER GIVE UP HOPE and always let Jesus lead the way.
