Deftly written with a blend of comedic, spiritual, and sensual prose, Outrageous Detour is an engaging and highly recommended walk on the wild side which will have special appeal to dedicated science fiction enthusiasts.

What a great book! Its an adventure full of exciting and VERY colorful twists, turns and psychic/spiritual revelations. The humor kept me laughing all the way through. The author's choice of characters and their development is perfect and hilarious. I felt like I really knew them all by the end of the book. I want to go on a vacation like this!

This is a sassy, sexy, very entertaining novel. The reader is swept along with the novel's ebullient characters toward an ultimate mystical adventure. Yet amidst all the fun runs a steady thread of human wisdom and a very seriously-held purpose.

I loved this book! Lindy Anne Nisbet cleverly shows the importance of many serious global issues with a lightheartedness that makes it easier to take in. The characters are funny and real and very endearing. They became my personal friends. I can't wait for her next book to come out so I can catch up with my 'friends'! This book has everything to entertain you. It's funny and sexy and deep all at the same time. A must read!
