2Not My Cup of Tea  Aug 11, 2010
By D. Person
Not the most engaging cycle touring book I've read. Wound up returning it. Too much "went here and did this" narrative and not enough relating his experiences about the people he met and the experience of being on the bike. Also a very poor printing job. There are whole paragraphs printed in a larger font than the surrounding text for no reason other than lack of good proofreading.

5This is a great book. You don't even have to be a cyclist.  Jan 29, 2007
By R. Richardson
This is a great book. You don't even have to be a cyclist. You can open it anywhere and read delightful descriptions of encounters on the road. Perfect way to vicariously visit Britain, or begin planning your own trip. If you like actually visiting the countries you travel to, this is for you. Reminds me of Bill Bryson, or Moon's Blue Highways.

5A must-have travel guide and novel!  Mar 28, 2006

Fabulous! A must-read for planning a cycling trip around Britain or for pleasantly reminiscing about previous vacations.
