SEAN MACTIRE is a forensic investigator, crime historian and a communications consultant on historical subjects. In addition to conducting research in communications psychology, and its relationship to interpersonal violence, Sean is also the author of "Malicious Intent", a book on criminal behavior. Sean's research and consulting work specializes in crime history, forensics sciences, international and strategic studies - which includes the study of terrorism - the psychology of inter-personal violence, and subjects related to health care and medicine, with a specific emphasis on issues concerning brain injury, trauma care and mental health. Sean also specializes in forensic/historical reconstructions. In addition, Sean researches, and consults on, criminal cases involving issues of mental illness. Sean is also an advocate on child welfare and women’s issues, and he has over ten years experience working with brain injury survivors. Sean's research on interpersonal violence involves extensive studies of the subjects of human frailty and human passion.
