Peace and Par: Enjoying Golf in the Now

Golfers are constantly seeking ways to improve their game. While there are a plethora of golf books dealing with the mind and a mountain of books describing Eastern philosophies, this is the first 'beyond the mind' golf book incorporating an ancient method told simply by 'one of the guys' who loves golf and happened to practice this technique for 30 years.

5I bought this book four times ...  Jul 22, 2010
By Rick Kristek
Why did I buy this book four times? Because every time one of my friends pick it up, they ask if they can "borrow" it. Then they ask if they can keep it, because one of their friends want to read it. It is that compelling, and interesting, and funny, and VERY easy to read (many of the chapters are only two pages long). It is full of wisdom and quotes from the likes of Yogi Berra, Groucho Marx and Eckhart Tolle. And from the author himself. He makes golfing in the Now seem so possible and effective. It's fun, and it quiets the mind. I wonder why I can't live my whole life like that.

5sooo awesome  Jun 13, 2010
By Margie Arcidy "Margie B."
Although I am not a golfer, I found this book to be very insightful in many ways. A great and fairly quick read, it offers
good advice on how to "live in the now"- as Michael so eliquently describes just one of his methods.
Read it. In the end, you'll be glad you did.
