Pearls Of Prayer is a journey for creating innovative daily prayer and offers the expressive design that is generated from the three traditional styles of prayer: vocal, meditative, and contemplative. This stimulating book is based on Holy Scripture in a beautiful guide for communicating to our Creator God. Prayer is an extension of our affection for the Lord and the various exercises in Pearls Of Prayer directs you to begin utilizing God's faith-tools for loving Him and His creation through prayer. By seeking God through personal prayer and applying the suggested styles you'll happily discover the knowledge that you've been called to prayer.

4Nice Book for People Who Pray  Apr 13, 2007
By Patrick J. Southam
This is a nice book for people who pray. It is not a book for beginners, really. Rather, it has some nice ideas for adding variety to prayer patterns. For example, one chapter has suggestions for praying and meditating on each of the Ten Commandments. Another chapter on using a labyrinth suggests going from chair to chair or station to station, with prayer ideas at each one. Some of these ideas could be adapted for group use in Bible Studies or retreats.
Despite the title, this book has no connection with 12 step recovery groups such as AA, GA, etc.
I liked this book.

By Marilyn Harley Irick "Marilyn"
Best song, best movie, but nothing comes close to best prayers in "Pearls Of Prayer".
