Performance Breakthrough Jun 15, 2009
By VR Performance Breakthrough is a definite must read. This book distinguishes itself from the ubiquitous management tome which is high on theory and often does not meet the hurdle of having practical applicability. It's clear that this book has been written by a practitioner and has clear actionable steps for the reader. There are personal anecdotes woven throughout the book which make for a engaging read that will have the reader coming back to reread specific sections as warranted by changing personal situations.

Read it.....DO IT.....Share it....... Jul 14, 2010
By EJ Davis This dynamic little book really packs a big punch. I just can't stop thinking about the "4 secrets" and am doing my best to implement them into my daily life at work and at home. His writing style makes it an easy and enjoyable read, not like your typical "management consulting" rant. Also, I had the opportunity to see Mike do his thing at a small seminar recently....if you get the opportunity to see him speak...don't miss it!

ALL MANAGERS SHOULD READ THIS BOOK Jul 14, 2010
By Jon K Easy and quick to read with very valuable information to anyone who spends most of their business day managing people. I wish many of my old bosses had read it and practiced its lessons. If they did they would have had more productive and happy employees.

A must read Feb 17, 2010
By Lou S. I was very fortunate to attend an event where Mike spoke. That same passion and energy he demonstrates in person is very present in this book. Leadership opportunities and qualities show themselves in ones personal and professional life. This book highlights this and shows how goals can be accomplished with a positive attitude and a commitment to focusing on strengths. Mike provides a simple and practical approach on leadership which just seems to stay with you after reading the book.
