First time author Judith Hooper bravely shares her struggles with mental illness while serving as a missionary social worker in Ogbomosho Baptist Hospital, Nigeria for ten years. Amazingly, the author is willing to remain transparent and honest about the conflicts between her mental illness and her faith. In the midst of it all, she is condemned by the very church she loved when long buried, issues of her sexuality surface. Ultimately, this is a story of God's grace and the author's struggle and ultimate triumph of staying in this world.
