Dr. Phillip Carey is a tenured Professor of Sociology and Social Work at North Carolina A&T State University where he formerly served as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. He has advanced degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Labor Economics. His professional and academic careers include the public, private and corporate sectors as researcher, administrator and university professor. Dr. Carey’s research and teaching interests include social psychology, social stratification, minority groups, organizational behavior and marriage and family relations.
