Prairie Legacy Oct 19, 2007
By Shamayne Neesley Family or a visitor this book gives a clear perception of the Thomas family. There was a simple feeling with me not knowing more and now there will be a feeling of tranquility when I get the chance to visit again. I was lucky enough to have met Lena when I was 9 or 10 and what she didn't have a chance to tell me this book did. Sincerely A great granddaughter of David & Lena Thomas Shamayne

I am an avid reader and rarely have I read anything as well documented and compelling as "Prairie Legacy." "Ol Watt" was a true pioneer, artist and engineer. A man on a mission determined to see his vision of a huge stone barn completed. The book extensively depicts the lives of four generations of The Thomas Family, along with their triumphs and tragedies. It is a book I will never forget and will always carry with me in my heart.
