In the wake of a global disaster of biblical proportions, the remains of humanity are convinced that God unleashed the untold power of the planet of his creation to ruthlessly cleanse the Earth of sinners and nonbelievers. Masses of the violently religous gather to finish God's work and destroy the remains of evil all over the world. God's army of prophecy is born and one by one the nations of the world fall under the fanitcal power of the GAP. Thus the first world governing body is formed. The United Earth Empire rules, forcing strict adherence to dogmatic law. Eventually, many of the most beautiful forms of human expression are outlawed. For many years there is no force to oppose the Holy Body. Then a group of revolutionaries, calling themselves the R-FANS, took a handful of the Emporer's head consultants hostage, demanding freedom from the Holy Body. A war is still raging, fueled by incredible advances in technology. Colossal airships floating on antigravity cells wage war, releasing thousand of R-Fighters over the skeletal structures of cities long since destroyed in the GAP Uprising.
