Quit Waiting-Buy this book! Sep 16, 2003
By Digital Post It is a rare occasion that someone actually writes something that speaks to EVERYONE! This book,-witty and very user-friendly- carries a simple philospohy-change it, leave it, accept it- that has changed my life in profound ways- I've easily aboandoned my whiny habits, and also have learned the sensitive way to deal with those of people around me! THIS BOOK IS GREAT FOR FAMILY, FRIENDS, and THOSE HOLIDAY GIFTS (THINK OFFICE GRAB BAG/SECRET SNATA) Thank you Victor Milt!!!

Changed my life Sep 04, 2003
This book was easy to read and understand, but filled with practical advice on changing the basic things in your life. No doubt things don't bother me as much since I started Change It, Leave It, or Accept It. What a simple solution to practically everything that seems to bother you. The book is like a cookbook for life, filled with stories and exercises to change your attitude. Definitely recommended.

Life-altering Aug 12, 2003
Mr. Milt seemed to be speaking directly to me. On each page, I recognized myself and learned how to rid myself of blockages to success. Before even finishing the book, I was able to identify advances at work and improvements to my marriage. Why haven't I heard of him before? "Quit Whining" is an important work.
Decent premise, but poorly written May 11, 2010
By D. Abushanab I bought this book thinking I'd use it to help my coworkers and family come to realize that it's not worth whining about petty things. The author makes that point reasonably well, with various anecdotes like how good we have things in the US compared to many in the world who don't even have ready access to clean drinking water.
Unfortunately, though, the book is poorly written in a number of ways. Thoughts and concepts are not organized cleanly into chapters but are scattered throughout in a kind of rambling stream of consciousness. Capitalization is routinely used incorrectly, with words and phrases capitalized in mid-sentence for No Reason.
The most serious problem with the book is that the author makes dubious claims that just aren't fact based. He claims, for example, that "We know the world is overpopulated with humans" without any explanation of why he thinks that. He then proposes a "solution" which by his definition turns an illegitimate whine into a legitimate complaint. The "solution" offered? "Limit the amount of children a family can have. Cut the family to one or two children, and natural loss will guarantee a fall in population growth. In two or three generations the world will once again approach a one billion population."
This is nonsensical drivel. And no, this isn't a whine - the solution is that you find another book that makes the same basic point without the flaws in this one.
A Must Read For Everyone! Dec 04, 2003
I loved reading this user friendly guide on navigating through life with ease and comfort. Victor Milt says it all, profound yet simple, Òchange it, leave it, accept it or shut the heck up.Ó A very complex yet made simple process for gaining friends who love to be with you while you are enjoying life no matter what happens! This philosophy has made me the happiest neurotic person I know. If you read this book your life will change forever! And your friends will love you so much more!
