Inspiring Oct 26, 2006
I loved this book! I was so inspired by the depth of faith and resolve to heal emotional wounds from her dysfunctional family and begin a new chapter in her family's history. It takes a lot of courage to speak out and Evie Thompson has done so with honesty and compassion. My husband enjoyed it also, so as much as it is a story about one woman's harrowing journey through painful experiences it speaks to men and women about the healing that is there for all of us. The music enhanced the experience of reading the book. It all went together beautifully.
