valuable song-by-song notes for x-treme Kiss fans Jan 17, 2009
By Doc Shred This book is an excellent complement to the Kiss Album Focus series. ROCK AND ROLL ALL NITE: THE MUSIC OF KISS provides an additional paragrah or so for every song Kiss ever recorded, including some demos, bootlegs, and remix/edits. While not nearly as detailed or thorough as the "Focus" books, the Music Of Kiss does contain information not in the Focus books and is another essential addition to the loyal Kiss Army member's library. Like the other Julian Gill books, this is intended for diehard Kiss fans who need to know every little tidbit about every single track Kiss put on tape; not for a casual listener who is looking for a band overview or history.
Party every day... Dec 20, 2011
By Dr Fors Just one word: awesome. It's an incredible description of the songs (or ideas of a song) and represents a time travel where you can feel how all it was going. A lot of tricky issues of interest and not too much technical details in order to avoid a tedious reading. Even though will be a must for die-hard fans, only a short knowledge fof the band is needed to be involved in a real roller-coster trip.
