Positive, easy, good reading!! Jun 11, 2008
I enjoy reading this book to my son who is 7 years old. I take the time to explain to him the importance of responsibility. Its easy to read and the pictures are bright, he likes the pictures and asks a lot of questions. He even reads the book himself! Its good to see positive books like this. The message of roger and his toys is one of personal responsibility. It is targeted to kids between the ages of 3-6 yrs old. A great book for teaching kids responsibility without being too 'preachy". The excellent illustrations were eye catching and well thought out. Younger readers may need some assistance with the bigger words. Overall a good attempt by the author. Buy this book!

What I love about this book is the fact there IS a definite and important message delivered. The author's uncomplicated delivery, to me seems perfect for developing, impressionable minds.
Further, amid all the superheroes, magic wands and mini-wonders, this book is refreshingly "real" as it explores a basic principle that is important for kids to embrace.
Brilliant job!
