5An exellent book to help children the importance of accepting others!  Nov 04, 2007
By Genaro Herrera
I am a School Social Worker at two elementary schools. Since I heard about this book, I was very interested in reading it. I bought it and received it a few days ago. It is a very nice way of teaching children that even if one looks different, we may have many things in common. More importantly, it teaches children we should not be judgmental and compartmentalize people in the same category because a few people within the group committed atrocities against us.
I believe this book can greatly help third, fourth and fifth graders to be more understanding and receptive about other cultures.

By Rajan K. Bhatia "Rajan Bhatia"
This book is really good. It is a great book to teach children to not to make fun of the children who look different.
