Unlike traditional programs that take years to teach bits & pieces of English, reading is now being taught in days, not in years. Camilia’s Program™ does not resemble any other traditional program that claims to teach literacy. We have good reasons to believe that traditional programs veer people away from learning and, unknowingly, participate in creating illiteracy. We undo such problems created by traditional teaching. We go back to step one, place all 160 phonics in a queue, and then introduce each phonic before presenting it. Example, we warn learners that the “s” can sound like “z” at the end of small words before asking them to read any words like is, was, has, bags, etc. When not informed beforehand, analytic learners may expect to see, “My cat is cute.” to be, “Mi kat iz qut.” We introduce and logically justify each change in the different spellings of a sound before asking learners to read it or spell it. In this way, we eliminate the possibility of acquiring dyslexia.
