Reflections From Our Foundations

PHILIP F. RECKER is a priest of the Archdiocese of Dubuque. He was raised in New Hampton, Iowa, received his bachelor's degree in philosophy from Loras College in Dubuque, studied theology at Mt. St. Bernard Seminary in Dubuque, and recieved his master's degree in drama from Catholic University in Washington D.C. He taught in high schools in Iowa and was chairman of the Theatre Arts Department at Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He served as pastor in parishes of the Archdiocese of Dubuque and retired from the active ministry in 2003. He now resides in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
