Inspirational & Needed Sep 18, 2008 What a heartfelt book for Alzheimer's caregivers. I deeply appreciated this book as my grandfather has Alzheimers and I work part-time in a nursing home. This book needs to be sitting at the nursing home for the staff to read.
Jo Kemp wrote such an inspirational book with reminders we all need. Each day has situation and reminder for us. For instance, as caregivers we must remember to take care of ourselves. As Jo Kemp stated it is the best gift we can give our loved ones.
Also, the book reminds us in this very sad and difficult time that there are so many others with this horrible disease that steals our loved ones away from us. There are so many caregivers going through the same sad situation.
This book really helps one to keep caring for our loved one in a kind manner and uplifts our spirit. At this time, we all need that.
Thank you to the author Jo Kemp for this book.

Reflections For A Caregiver Sep 17, 2008 One Word......TREMENDOUS. Jo Kemp has a tremendous gift of being able to understand, empathize and communicate the day to day trials and tribulations of a caregiver. I recommend reading this book from cover to cover the first time and then using as a comforting guide on those days you really need to know that someone understands and wants to help. On those days you need help with just "Starting Your Day", or "Prioritizing" and don't forget about "Personal Time" and "Self Love".
Thank you so much for sharing your talents and giving all of us the gift of your book.

Inspirational Beyond Measure Aug 06, 2008 Jo Kemp's Reflections for a Caregiver is a tiny voice of reason when you need encouragement or are feeling blue coping with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease. Each day contains a thought or message that is thought provoking and introspective
I was unable to put down this guide after I picked it up.Sequential daily reading is not necessary, it can be read daily or by selecting random dates. Very encouraging, supportive insights on every day thoughts and feelings. The wisdom and inspiration contained within are priceless.
