Relational Presentation - A visually interactive approach - Condensed Edition for PowerPoint 2007

Robert resides in sunny Tucson, Arizona, USA. He is an internationally recognized lecturer, trainer and author, specializing in digital media techniques for interactive communication and teaching. Robert completed a B.S. in Physics at the University of Arizona and currently is pursuing a M.S. in Educational Technology. His fascination with optical physics and the brain’s processing of visual information led naturally to formation of the Relational Presentation methodologies featured in this book. The following pages distill approximately eight years of his work, along with the inspirations of many like-minded colleagues.

5A tool that helps bridge the digital gap  Aug 14, 2009
By Hedemarrie Florez "Hedemarrie Flórez"
I devoured this book! I wish I would have come across this information one year before, when I started my master in Technologies of Education, in Costa Rica. The book is spotless, from the point of view of a person like me who has zero tolerance for grammatical errors. I even sent a personal note to the writer in that regard.

As for content, this information has been liberating. I wanted to find a tool that helped me articulate the heartbeat of my life: How to bridge the digital gap that is so increasing the levels of poverty in Latin America, and show educators how to integrate technology into the classroom. This book, Relational Presentation: A visually Interactive Approach, paved the way to do just that.
I've learned how to maximize a simple tool such as Power Point 2007 to encourage Latin American educators to, not only develop, but manage the wealth of content that they produce day by day, year by year, which sadly never get to be publicized. But, now, thanks to the New Technologies of Information and Communication, any teacher can become and instructional designer. More than that, through the principles of Relational Presentation, they can make an immediate contribution to human knowledge by helping students and colleagues navigate through the vast loads of information in an elegant, but systematic way. Kudos to the author, Robert A. Lane for his contribution; for the way he articulates the need to make sense of the information load, and for giving us a tool to do it well!
