The last in a trilogy and it doesn't disappoint. A finely crafted read and a worthy conclusion to this excellent science fiction series. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and commend Cathrine for her gift as a story teller. She has skilfully drawn the threads together and woven a fascinating story on survival of the human Renzehars and Eromnians, and the alien Metasobiens on the planet Rhidi against the malevolent Matriarch and her disciples, hell bent on achieving supreme dominance of the known universe. Jate takes up the challenge .... and the momentum is sustained from the first chapter to the closing pages. Really good stuff.
