5Rhidi Sojourn  Nov 27, 2006
What a fantastic read! Reading is one of the ways I switch off from the world and Science Fiction is one of my favourite genres. As an avid reader of both classical and contemporary literature, it is hard to impress me but this really is an outstanding first novel. It is so exciting and fast paced I could not put down! I literally read it in one sitting - the world stopped while I became totally immersed myself in the novel's world and characters. The characters are so well drawn that you emotionally respond to them and the world they inhibit is believable, detailed and intriguing. The plot is intelligent and wonderfully unexpected with a very clever ending - it has a satisfying sense of resolution but leaves the door open for the possibility of even more exciting things to come. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!

5A most riveting read  Nov 02, 2006
I enjoyed every page of this terrific novel. It is not only full of humour and suspense, but is so compelling that I felt that I was fighting along side the characters. There is not a dull page and the twists are jaw dropping.

5Rhidi Sojourn Review  Oct 21, 2006
I really did enjoy Rhidi Sojourn. I am a voracious reader and read a lot of books, but never did get into Science Fiction novels, so this was my first one. It is worth reading, anyone who likes Science Fiction would enjoy this story. It was different from anything else I have read and my only criticism would be that I don't enjoy fighting scenes. I particularly liked the main character called Powrie and also enjoyed the fact that there was none of the really bad language in it, that you find in many novels these days.
Chris.
