5Amazing!  Nov 10, 2006
By Truth Seeker
This book is mind-altering. It will change the way you see the world and your role in it. If you don't know anything about yoga it really explains it well, although a little fast paced at first, it's the kind of book you can read again and again, and keep getting something new. This book is different from other books because it does not impose its version of truth on you, it explains it in a very logical procession to the reader to understand and assimilate if they choose. If you are already experienced in yoga, it will certainly shed a lot more light on what you think you already know, it will also certainly deepen your understanding, keep you on track, and remind you why it is important. This book also provides a simple quick reference guide and flow chart of the important steps for practicing. I love it, and recommend it for everyone interested in the quest for Truth, happiness, and success in life.

5Blew me away!  Jun 26, 2011

I will start by stating I knew absolutely nothing about yoga and what that entailed. All I did know before this book was that yoga was some stretching exercise with deep breaths. Well I was obviously very wrong. I was still right about the stretching exercise and deep breaths, but what I was very wrong about was the reasons you would exercise like that. I thought it was just a lazy way to work out and to become flexible. This is so far from the case! This book really gave a whole different perspective I never thought of before. All I had to do is read the first few pages of the book and I was hooked. The author puts proper emphasis on all the key points of our(reality)and really brings what it means to live yoga.(not just an exercise). What I really like about the book is the authors ability to take the ideas put down on paper and be able to easily convey to the reader how it can be displayed in his or her life. The book just really opened my mind to different avenues I never thought imaginable. The last thing I will say though is my favorite chapter is chapter 9. This chapter really drives the message home. I feel the author was batting a 1000% when he wrote it. It was so fluid and engaging I could not put the book down. I cant stress enough how you must read this book even if you don't like yoga, the thoughts inside the book are to important to be missed. This book really is just amazing!
