5LIVED, She has really LIVED!  Jan 07, 2008
What a great memoir, I laughed until I cried, and nearly peed my pants. She clearly loves adventure and finds it where ever she goes. I can't put it down at night to sleep, I just keep reading. It's fun in a book! Some of us live, and some of us LIVE. Ms. Schad had LIVED to the fullest!

5I'm not a reader, but breezed through this effortlessly  Dec 11, 2007
I am 29 years old and I don't think I have even finished a book since I was in High School, let alone one that is over 400 pages. I am very excited about this book and probably more excited about telling all my friends about it. I have already purchased 3 more copies so I can hand them out. I am in awe of the hilarious writing ability the Author is gifted with. They way that she can mentally teleport you directly into the stories is simply supernatural. This is hands down the funniest thing I have ever read in my life. A friend and I read a good portion of the book out load the other night, and over the course of 2 hours we often had to stop because of the wave of laughter that would come over us due to the mental concoctions that Melissa would mix up in our heads. I am predicting a very successful and positive response to this book. I am already starting it over and will probably repeat the cycle till she publishes the next phases of her life and all its debris.

5This book is really funny!  Nov 29, 2007
When I came across this book, I was attracted to the title, but I really did not know what to expect. After reading the book, I have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable literary experiences I have had in quite a while. Ms. Schad has written a very funny, enjoyable book that really sucks you in! The book is relatable to many of the absurdities that we all go through in our journey to adulthood. A definite must read!
