These are two of the funniest books I have ever read in my life. They are based on a true story and should be a movie. Both books pack a giant take away and tender love for ones kinfolks. I'd say they were the most politically incorrect books on the market, a tour of American History during the Alamo era and Andrew Jackson's lame duck Indian phoo-pah.
People who never read books are nuts about it. One lady said, "I never go to the john without my copy." Her husband said about her histerical laughter, "Woman, if you don't stop that, I will call 911." This author has put every story he ever heard into two books, Salt Lick I and Salt Lick II. You have to read it to believe it.
