Salvation: The Gospel Message of Jesus Christ Our Lord

Biography - Harry Wilson I was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1936 and moved to Berrien Springs, MI at the age of nine, where I graduated from high school in 1955. I attended the Art Institute of Chicago in 1956-57, Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI in 1958-59 and graduated there in 1959 with an Associate Degree in Printing and Advertising. In 1957, I became interested in religion and was baptized in 1958. Since that time, I have been an avid student of the Bible. In 1966, I was ordained a deacon and served as such for over 25 years. During this time, I attended church sponsored Spokesman’s Club and Elder’s-Deacon’s training and leadership classes. In addition, I began giving sermonettes at Church services. Because of my intense interest in understanding the Bible and the amount of time I have dedicated to it, I leaned towards specific avenues of study. Conversion ignited an interest in the Bible and truth that has been unquenchable. For instance, faith has always captivated me and been a life-long quest, inspiring many personal Bible studies. Some of the other areas of study that I have been attracted to are salvation, the gospel message and the New Covenant. My studies reveal that Christ is at the center of all those subjects; understanding the purpose of His death, burial and resurrection unlocks their complete understanding. When I retired in 1998 from an architectural products company, I started researching and recording as much information as I could on the above subjects. I was doing this strictly for my own benefit, as a source and outline that I personally found both intriguing and helpful. Out of that ingathering, a theme emerged - salvation, the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Since this information had a theme, I was now interested in developing it into a book that would be beneficial, not just to me, but of value to others also. In fact, I feel my experience in that search may be a platform and provide helpful information to others that are sharing similar experiences in their Christian journey. In 2001, that commentary became available in book form as “Salvation - The Gospel Message of Jesus Christ our LORD.” In 2007, I added an additional 200 pages of supportive information and published under the same title.
