A very creative and well-written story! My kids and I all enjoyed this book. This is an interesting story about a horse that solves a mystery and learns about others in the process. We hope to see more from this talented young writer!

Ms. Martinko, at a tender age, is already developing her voice. And the artwork is superb.

This clever book will appeal to anyone who likes horses or mystery stories, and the illustrations complement the story perfectly. This would be a great gift for the children on your holiday gift list.
An impressive debut for a young writer who's going places. Hope to read more about Sam's crime-solving skills in the next Sam Saddlebags adventure!

Dis book is like like like the best book like ever and like like is almost as good as like like the Jonas Brothers!!!!! But the Jonas Brothers are soooooo much hotter and like like they're hot and like hot hahahahahaha but this book is good too like sam is like a horse who like like solves stuff and stuff and like like busts criminals and like stuff and like yeah
