Samantha's Plight

Samantha Uruthia returns to St. Croix, Virgin Islands, her home, after graduating in photography in New York. She plans to start a photographic business. Samantha's life changes when she experiences the crash of a small plane in her back yard. The wounded pilot captures her heart. While visiting him, she becomes suspicious of drugs, or some kind of underhand deals. Her romance with Bob, the pilot, comes to a brutal ending when her dad buys a plane, which he gives to Bob. On its first trip, the craft crashes on the island, Puerto Rico. Bob and Samantha's dad die on the spot the plane crashes. To add to misery, Samantha's mom, a diabetic, suffers a fatal stroke. Samantha inherits wealth, but wonders if she will love again. She struggles with her emotions until she meets a sea diver, Alexander, life blooms, and she sees the light.
