5Great bedtime story for kids!!!  Feb 16, 2008
I love this book. I don't have kids yet, but I do have lots of nephews, nieces & friends kids, who come to my house and love reading this book! What a great new writer. I heard a rumor that he is going to be writing more books. I can't wait to buy/read them. Hey Mr. Decker, can you write faster? You have an audience out here! :)

Very age appropriate discussion of how kids can take control of their fear of the dark.

5A Very Sweet Tale  Apr 29, 2006
I bought this book on the referral of a friend and my twins loved it. Its such a sweet story and its definitely not one they will be tired of any time soon. It makes for a great bedtime reader because its about two things that scare kids most: the dark and "monsters" under the bed. Plus, it rhymes and the ilustrations are beautiful, so you can't go wrong.

5Great storyteller...  Apr 01, 2006
This is a great story that can be read to your children or by your children. It is about a little frog who overcomes the same childhood fears that every toddler has to overcome: monsters and the dark. The story itself is very sweet and it rhymes its way through the plot like every good fairy tale should. The best review I can give it is this: its the kind of story that I read to my daughters and they quickly ask me to read it again...and again...and again. I hope Mr. Decker has more Sammy tales in store for us.
