5Excellent Primer  Jan 13, 2010
By Robert Martin
This book discusses science in a way someone without a science background can understand. More importantly, it gives a rundown of nearly every major science area or project. The color images were really good, and helped to convey what he's talking about.

If you're looking to become science-literate really quick or are someone who's interested in knowing what science has in store for our future, then you should check this book out. If you're looking for an in-depth discussion of these topics with lots of technical verbiage, then you should pass.

5Science everyone sholud know...  Mar 29, 2010
By P. A. Morse
"Science Happens" is a great introduction to those topics that are at the cutting edge of today's scientific and technological world. In language everyone can follow, Joe Weichman sparks his readers' sense of wonder and provides them with the references to dig deeper and find out more about where science is heading. I know of no other place where you can find out about advances in space exploration, nanoparticles, and invisibility cloaks, all at your fingertips. A fun read!

5Worthwhile Read!  Mar 15, 2010
By David Gonzales "David"
I work in the field of education and I've never come across a science book like this. There are so few resources out there for inspiring young minds, especially in the area of science, so I was very happy that someone wrote a science book that students would actually want to read. I would certainly recommend this book to other educators

5An Excellent Resource  Feb 01, 2010
By Daniel R. Brown
"I'm a science teacher for a middle school science magnet, and there's very little science literature appropriate for the level I teach, so I was very happy to find this. It's a comprehensible introduction to some very advanced science topics. The visuals are great for the students, as well as providing simple explanations as to how science will impact the future. This book is now going to be part of my science curriculum."

5A Need To Read  Jan 23, 2010
By A. Donner
The book was recommended to me by a friend, since I'm not planning on pursuing a science or engineering career, I didn't think that I would be interested, but I was actually really interested in the information in this book. There's some amazing stuff going on with science that this book covers, and I'm glad I know about it. More than that the format wasn't boring or stodgy. It made it easy for me to understand and comprehend, and I definitely fall in the category of someone not to well versed in science, (the most advanced class I took was an intro to Physics). All in all this is a book that is like 'An Incomplete Education' except it is about current science and is a much lighter and easier read. I quite enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone as a must read.
