Truly an inspiring book. I have really enjoyed reading what the Lord did in their lives. I would recommend this book to everyone!

I enjoyed the book thoroughly. I know the Kerrigans personally so
I was able to relate to the story.
I think they did a great job in telling their story and I have recommnded
it to my friends both in Spain and in the States.

This must be said right up front ... I am related to the authors. That being said, you might think I already knew this story and was reading it only to be nice. Well, I found out just how much if their amazing story I actually had accurate knowledge of all these years ... only a small portion. It should also be said that, theologically, we are not necessarily at the same place, but the impact of their faith on the two of them does not come across as preachy but honest and true. I was particularly taken with their honesty in addressing some issues that opened up their lives and their very personal memories for us to see. This book reads very easily and keeps you wanting to know more. Immediately I wanted a Volume II. Raising five boys in mission work - now there are many, many more great stories.

Straight from the heart May 22, 2008

Kevin and Leslie's story comes straight from their hearts. As a jungle pilot I flew emergency patients to the hospital where Kevin provided surgical restoration. I came to respect and admire the giving of himself to others.
Leslie is an excellent hostess and was always ready to open her home and heart to others.
Together they make an excellent team! In this day of throw-away marriages and lack of commitment, Kevin and Les demonstrate with their lives their commitment not only to each other, but to the Creator of the Universe that they serve.

A Beautiful Love Story Oct 12, 2009

This is the most beautiful love story of real people that I have ever read. What makes it so great is that I knew personally the girl, Leslie in the story. She attended the same church that I did way back when and she grew up to some degree with my family of boys. Thank you Kevin and Leslie for sharing your hearts with the whole world. May Jesus, the Creator and Savior of the world be with you always.
