Second American Revolution: Change You Really Want

The object of Second American Revolution is to engage people in thinking and debate and to be a catalyst to effect consensus for change among the silent majority which will lead them to the ballot box to amend the Constitution by use of state referendums, thus by-passing Congress. For those who have suffered great loss in their IRA or 401K, they will strongly support the amendment to “Kill” the Bear on Wall Street and end the market declines that are driven by naked short selling Most people will also favor establishing term limits for Congress and placing Congress under Social Security Most people will favor returning religion to our schools to try and restore civil society in education. In first grade when the school bell rang, we assembled by the flag pole, recited the pledge of allegiance, sang America and God Bless America. Our problems in school were chewing gum in class and running in the hallways. Today there is disrespect for school, teachers and our country. The problems have become lack of academic achievement, failure to graduate, rape, drugs and murder. It is time to reclaim America and have laws that cause behavioral modification. The United States is likened to Sodom and Gomorrah and we may well be headed for the same punishment. How can we have any respect for our nation that has 5.0% of the world population and has 25.0% of the imprisoned world criminals? We have a bloated government, a dysfunctional Capitol District, A legislative Supreme Court, a greedy litigious legal system, greedy corporate leadership and a greed driven Stock market. Only cutting constitutional amendments with severe punishment for violators can have the necessary impact to cause behavioral modification necessary to reclaim America to Christian principles and hopefully statesmanship. Second American Revolution started as a series of Bible studies to provide documentation for why the author and his wife believe some Bible concepts no widely held. For example it is believed that all nations were created by God on the sixth day and after resting God created Adam and Eve. This concept is documented by a study of the word “man” in the Massoretic text where reference is made to Adam , “man” mankind and decedents, Ha’adham, “the man” and descendants, and ‘eth-‘Ha’adham, “the man”, “the specific”, “this very man”. The Bible student is introduced to scholarly references not widely used as yet. When the studies touch on “origin of the species” the book moved into secular discussions and finally mushroomed into other “out of the box” thinking including amending the Constitution. A study of amending the Constitution led to the realization that Congress can be by-passed and that “We The People” have the power to amend, no to rewrite the Constitution to be more definitive. Our absolute embracement of certain rights and liberties permits abuse by individuals and minorities who believe they have the right to impose their will upon the majority. Certainly we want to retain freedom of speech, but there should be limits and people need to be held accountable for the misuse of that freedom. As more amendments developed it became apparent that 52 amendments almost become a rewriting of the Constitution. If Congress were statesmen and the Supreme Court did not legislate from the bench many of the proposed amendments could be left out of the Constitution. Drastic action is required to restore America on the path our founding fathers started this nation. Great stress is placed on achieving behavioral modification. We need to disdain anti-social activity and return to a society that enjoys its freedom and respects the rights of others. few of the most desirable amendments are: Kill the BEAR on Wall Street by prohibiting NAKED SHORT SELLING Provide Term Limits for all elected and appointed officials Place Congress under Social Security Provide for impeachment of the Supreme Court for legislation from the bench Restore religion to our schools, to publ

5Our "Founding Father" of the first revolution could not have envisioned our government today!  Apr 15, 2009
By Laura L. Baumtrog
Great "How To" book- not just "read and sigh" about how things are. Our founding fathers could not have predicted our government in the 21st century. The concept of career politicians, monied lobbyists, voting yea or nay based on "voting favors due" would be quite shocking. Know which president lamented the increasing division with the 2 party system? Right off the bat- Pres. George Washington! The states (We The People) need some of our power back. Read this book and find out how our individual states can make a few fundamental changes (as a cohesive group) that Congress will not or cannot do. Because the author makes references to God in many of his "thinking outside the box" situations, this book is labeled Religious/Spiritual rather than Political Science/Government. That's something to discuss right there: Do we trust in God, or don't we?
