This is a booklet not a book. A very high price for a home made creation. Little info.

A "To the point" book about Short Sale Aug 05, 2009
By Rugby22 The book does a good job explaining what to expect out of a short sale: the process it takes, and the documentation required. It shows you, in a practical and concise way, how lenders treat your short sale application, without having to go through a thick and lengthy book. This is something I like because I am looking for concise information, not literary value. The book is direct, to the point and deals directly about the "nuts" and "bolts" of short sale. For those who plan to invest in short sale properties, this book will not show you how to invest, but it shows what to expect from the buyer's perspective. This is a great book to add to your library, and a good reference for homeowners and buyers. I would highly recommend this to the real estate agent who wants to know the "how-to" of handling short sale.

Short sales can cause short tempers Aug 10, 2009
By Theresa Fabiani Taraborelli This book is well written and it is easy to tell that the author has had extensive experience on the subject. It is a situation where the parties involved can easily become frustrated and angry, due to the amount if time it usually takes the lender to respond and/or approve the transaction. A short sale will ultimately benefit the seller, by avoiding foreclosure, and could be a tremendous bargain for the buyer. The problem is getting the house to settlement, and this book helps us understand the process. This book should be required reading for all real estate sales people, so they can understand and make an informed decision before accepting this type of task, allowing them to service their clients in the best possible way.

Pulling Back the Curtain . . . Aug 09, 2009
By Licia Guenesso I like this book. It is clear, concise, and informational. I felt like it was pulling back the curtain and giving us a look in to the world of short sales. It seems as though the author is speaking to the reader directly, while chatting over a cup of coffee. Totally conversational in style which makes it a quick read, not an easy task for the subject matter. By reading this, those who are facing any mortgage problems &/or foreclosure, should see they are well served by reading this book and then employing the services of a real estate professional with experience and success in both regular sales and short sales. It illustrates short sales are no joke. They are complicated and ofter lengthy in process. But, they are definitely preferable to full foreclosure for any property owner. Thanks to the logical progression of this book, those facing mortgage issues, will be able calm some nerves by reading it. If you want valuable info on short sales, buy this book. It is worth every penny!

Anything But Short Aug 07, 2009
By JMitro The Short Sale is anything but short, but this book makes the process understandable and manageable for property owners who may face foreclosure, and for the Real Estate agents who want to help them. It provides clear and direct guidelines for an issue that can be complex and highly emotional. I appreciated the author's "plain language" approach, and the way in which he indicated options for property owners to consider, based on the different circumstances that they could be facing. This should be required reading for anyone who has a mortgage that spins out of payment control, and also for those Real Estate agents who want to provide a safety net.
